Momentum & Structure Workshop

A live evening workshop on recognising momentum shifts and waiting for market structure breaks with confirmation.

Who it is for

Discretionary traders who already read candles and swings but still enter on the first pierce of a level, or who rename every wick a structure break. You trade FX, index futures, or liquid UK and US equities and want a clearer rule for when momentum has actually shifted.

What you practise

We work through recent London and New York sessions on projected charts. You mark impulse legs, locate where buying or selling pressure thinned, and separate a genuine break of structure from a liquidity grab that fails back inside the prior range.

Included:

  • Printed checklist for your primary market and timeframe
  • Annotated examples from the session (PDF after the evening)
  • Two follow-up questions by email within seven days

Not included: signal services, managed accounts, or live trade copying.

How the evening runs

  1. Warm-up map — define swing highs/lows and the active structure on your chosen chart.
  2. Momentum shift drill — identify fading impulse, overlapping candles, and failed continuation.
  3. Break confirmation — wait for the close beyond the prior swing, then plan the invalidation.
  4. Case round — each attendee submits one recent trade or near-miss for a short group read.

Duration and place

Sessions run 18:00–21:30 at our London Wall rooms. Arrive ten minutes early; tea and water are available. Bring a laptop or tablet with your charting software open to the markets you actually trade.

Preparation

Send one annotated screenshot of a recent structure decision before the workshop. We use a selection of these (anonymised) in the case round.

Next step

Request a place with your preferred date. Capacity is capped at ten traders per evening so everyone gets chart time.
